		"Sunburst 1" (2006) by Cindy Ann Bowers 40" X 40" Cindy Ann started with the center medallion and added to the design over a couple of years. She intended to make it a full size quilt, but other projects took priority. It is machine appliquéd and machine pieced. Cindy Ann quilted in the ditch and around the shapes. Even though Cindy Ann was going to make a full size quilt, it looks like it was meant to be. You can almost see the flames flickering. To see more of Cindy Ann's work: cadesignquilts.com
