		"Eyes 2" (2008) by Cindy Ann Bowers 90" X 90" This is a commissioned quilt and will be brightening a summer home in Sweden. The quilt is machine pieced, appliquéd and quilted. Cindy Ann pieced the back with squares of the same fabric. The quilting is done in loopy, spirally lines on the on the white areas with bright yellow thread. Cindy Ann comments on her quilt: "After making kid quilts with some rather wild designs, I was asked to make a 'calm' adult quilt. I attempted to make 'calm' by using a white background, simple and repetitive shapes, and gorgeous solid fabrics. Needless to say, 'bold' happened instead."
