		Jim McKeehan "Southwestern Indian Tribal Masks" 37½" X 42" Multifaceted Jim studied to be a graphic artist but became a contractor out of necessity. He has built missile silos, apartments, a boat, an acrobatic biplane and a steam locomotive. Jim oil paints as a hobby. He and his wife, Betty (an avid quilter) visit New Mexico often and Jim was inspired by the Indian culture and a painting of tribal masks. He designed and stitched the quilt and Betty helped with the binding. A local woman did the machine quilting by outlining the designs. The back of the quilt represents an Apache military blanket. What a wonderful excursion into quilting! I hope Jim finds other ideas to put to cloth.
