		"My Rose Garden" by Marie Nigro Approximately 98" square Marie designed, appliquéd, embellished AND quilted this very pretty quilt. She won Best of Show, Viewers Choice and 1st Place for Appliqué at Evening Star Quilters 'Harvest of Quilts' show in Mineola, NY. Marie is self-taught on a Gammill quilting machine (compliments of her husband). She used an E. Burns quilting pattern with feathers, scrolls and hearts. Marie said she had fun with this quilt by adding embroidered touches such as bees, stars and a rabbit.
